More than a Massage!
When is a massage more than a massage? When it comes with the knowledge gained from a lifetime working with horses coupled with continuing education in equine anatomy, bit and saddle fitting, equine behavior, nutrition and anatomy coupled with a respect for your horse's needs and your money.

Evaluation is Key!
Upon arrival, I will discuss anything I saw in any pictures or video that you sent or will inspect your horse's conformation both standing and at a minimum at the walk and trot. If for any reason your horse is not up to the canter, that is fine. Please have your regular tack available. Sometimes a problem starts with the tack we use and may be the fastest way to helping your horse heal.

Reading the Horse
The massage is a fully body massage, paying utmost attention to the horse in order to determine areas of pain versus areas of stiffness. This process is much like reading a book. If I am not attentive to your horse, I might miss something I need to know.
Post massage, I will provide you a full write-up detailing what I saw, areas of concern and recommendations within 1-2 business days. Sometimes those recommendations will be exercises and stretches that can help your horse and other times, I might encourage you to consult your veterinarian or even tack changes. |
